Tribe leaders from Papua will meet Freeport Indonesia executives at the goldminer's office in Kuningan business hub, Jakarta on Monday. Seven tribe leaders of Amungme will demand explanations on a deal between Freeport and the Indonesia government in 2000, which they see has harmed the indigenous tribe in Timika. |

Package Found at Freeport, Flights uninterrupted in Timika |

Police in Papua found a suspicious package at an electricity facility belonged to Freeport on Sunday night, a few hours after the reported explosion at Timika Mozes Kilangin Airport. The Airport was operating on Monday morning as flight from Bali arrived at the airport at 7 AM local time (5 AM Jakarta Time), and continued its flight to Sentani Airport in Jayapura. |

Timor Leste Foreign Minister Ramos Horta said no country in the world, including Timor Leste, would support separatism in the Indnesian provinces of Papua and Aceh. "Indonesia should not be paranoid on this issue. I would like to make it clear here that no country in the world wants to see disintegration in Indonesia," Horta said in an interview with TV ANTARA. |

The Independent Group Supporting the Autonomous Region of Papua in the Republic of Indonesia (IGSARPRI) is making continuous efforts for the repatriation of Papuans living in Papua New Guinea (PNG) to their homeland in Papua or West Papua provinces, a spokesman said. |
