ImageAlthough the image of Puncak Jaya, Papua, is identical to the shootings and killings of terrorist acts by separatists of the Free Papua Organization during the past two years, but it Regents Luke Enembe proclaimed mountain regions as tourist destinations starting this year.

"With a height of 3000 meters, Puncak Jaya has a million of wealth and natural beauty, this is what we sell Mountains as a tourist destination," said Luke Enembe Regent at his home in Puncak Jaya, Tuesday, June 29, 2010.

Luke convey, most natural Puncak Jaya was still very natural even completely untouched by human hands. Sure it has a special attraction for tourists. "Want to get some fresh air is not polluted at all and was at altitude, go to Puncak Jaya," he said.

In Puncak Jaya, also there are still isolated tribes whose lives are not in the usual Honai mountain people, but in the trees. Besides the cultural mores of Puncak Jaya also be an attraction to be seen directly. "There are three Puncak Jaya attractions to visit," he said.

Problem image of Puncak Jaya which is synonymous with terror shootings and murders, the Regent stressed that it only happened in one district, and not part of the existing district as a tourist attraction. "Not all of Puncak Jaya prone to interference, it is only in one district alone," said Regent with an optimistic tone.

When going to the Lord, the capital of Puncak Jaya, the landscape is amazing. Aircraft flying in the crevices of the mountain in the near distance, so it looks clear, unspoiled forests far from the touch of human hands.
